Students in Mr. Vasquez’s first period advanced broadcast journalism class are “working” on their Hype Videos.  Their projects vary from anything to news packages about Cross Country, to hype videos over crew. Mr. Vasquez does a very good job of teaching his students the process of filming, how to color correct, and how to make your audio sound better. The students in this class range from first year sophomores to third year seniors. Jake Mercier, student council president, states that “Mr. Vasquez is a great guy,” when Mr. Vasquez heard this he responded with “Get to work.” The environment that is held in this classroom is a very honest environment where everyone is open to honest criticism. “We look forward to having another successful year and hope to enter some competitions”- Mr. Vasquez
