The Business and Consumer Law class is excited to present its 38th annual Mock Trial. This year the students presented one of the most national and world famous cases in the past 20 years as Casey Anthony will be put on trial for the murder of her 2 year old daughter Caylee Anthony. As you may remember from the 2008 trial, Casey Anthony was found not guilty of the crime in a very controversial verdict.
Our student prosecution team will be attempting to prove Anthony’s guilt using new strategies by using the evidence that was available at the time of the original trial while our team of student defense attorneys will attempt to place doubt in the student jury’s minds as to her involvement and gain an acquittal once again. The trial is presented as if the original trial never happened.
