This past weekend I went to see the school musical, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. The musical was about a man, Adam, who wants a wife, so he goes into town to find one. He meets a girl named Millie, and asks her to marry him. She agrees and moves back to the mountains to be with him. When she arrives, she soon comes to realize that not only did she marry Adam, she also married his 6 brothers. She has to learn how to deal with all of the brothers and teaches them how to “get girls”. They capture 6 girls that they want to marry and bring them back to the mountains. At first, the girls don’t want to be there, but after spending the whole winter at the house they fall in love with the boys. By the end of the play, they all fall in love and get married. The show was really fantastic. There were happy moments, funny moments and sad moments. It was the perfect mix of everything.
