On the night of October 11th, the HPHS Choir had their formal fall concert held in the school’s’ auditorium at 7 pm. The event showcased the talents of our choir with their beautiful voices, directed by Ms. Natalie Walker and Mr. Neal Patel. The auditorium was crowded with supportive family members and enthusiastic friends, filling seats from both ground and balcony level.

The performance started off with the Concert Woman singing Alleluia, Will There Really be a “Morning”, and La Paloma. Their performance gave a serious yet melancholic aura to their songs. The Concert Woman were shortly followed by the Concert Men, whom sang songs such as Sinner Man, Jamaica Farewell!, and Dies Irae. They sang harmoniously, pleasing to the ears. The Park Version choir gave a marvelous entertain performance with their articulated smooth voices, followed by their minimalist dance. They performed Build Me Up Buttercup, Misty, as well as Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy. After Park Version, Women’s Select gave a lovely display of the songs Cantate Domino, Will Ye Go Lassie, Go, and The Lake Isle of Innisfree. Their well-rounded smooth voices resonated well with the audience as they received a well deserved applause. And to conclude the night, the Lad & Lassies gave an exquisite concert of To Thee, Cherubim and Seraphim, Lux Aurumque, and I Am Loved. Their songs were a superb way to end the concert as the crowd roared with applause.

The concert was stunning and well put together, and the efforts of each and every student was absolutely magnificent.
