Hello! My name is Saria Trivedi, and my role on HPNow is an anchor! That means I serve as the main face of HPNow, and communicate all of our stories to the audience. My favorite role to fulfill in a production is the director, which I take on for all of our Pep Rallies. I love thinking fast, communicating with others, and working in a creative lens into my responsibilities! I’m really proud of a PSA I directed, produced, and edited about bullying – I love creating art that demonstrates a powerful, tangible message.

 For my career, I’m leaning towards a major in political science, with a possible minor in either media and public relations, or anthropology. I’m interested in either a career of law, or as a press official in a political advertising campaign. I love media because it allows me to connect with the public aspect of political science, and brings me opportunities for me to express myself and communicate powerful messages.

My extracurriculars entail participating in World Schools Debate, serving as the founder of PRISM, a book club, maintaining my role as the Communications Director in HPHS’s D&D club, and volunteering at a cat cafe, Whiskers and Soda! I enjoy frogs, nature walks, reading, concocting fun lemonades in my kitchen, and writing poetry.
