As technical director my responsibilities include many things that keep our show and broadcast running smoothly. For HP Now I am responsible for making sure everything works the way it should before a show. Having the correct video and audio inputs and ensure the software is functioning properly so the broadcast runs like it should without errors. During the broadcast I operate the video switcher, selecting different camera and video feeds.
What I enjoy most about production is the engineering aspects, how everything comes together to make one show/broadcast. Researching and finding new ways to make something happen that seems hard to do is something that I enjoy. Studio work for HPNow and the technical aspects of our on site broadcast is something that I enjoy doing and hope to do in college and as a career.
